Marie-Anne's Bio:

After completing her fashion design education at Lasalle College in 1999, Marie-Anne worked in diverse fields of the fashion industry. She later developed a love for dance which gave her a creative outlet that the mainstream market could not offer her. In January 2009 she launched her company "L’Atelier de la robe" and  quickly got involved with the many dance studios in Montreal and is now a creative designer established in the niche market of ballroom dresses, designing dresses for dancers from beginners to professionals.
In her well stocked atelier you’ll find her materials of choice: silks, satins, chiffon, feathers and Swarovski stones in every color imaginable. All the ingredients which contribute to movement, style and glitter.
She sponsors professional dancers and her dresses have been seen in dance competitions all over Canada, the United States and have made their way to Blackpool, England, which hosts the biggest dance competition in the world.
With her busy schedule, Marie-Anne continues to help and support various charities and sponsors events such as the annual  Bal Leucan for the Centre Sportif MAA, hosted by Olympic medalist Nathalie Lambert, and the annual Just for Kids foundation’s Dancing with the Stars event, judged by the famous dancer and TV figure Jean-Marc Généreux.
Her work as a dressmaker has become an addiction to many who keep coming back for more.
Marie-Anne’s art, bridal to evening gown, to anything that will make you stand out, has made countless women delighted… Often men as well!
